Known for its fruit wines, and a flourishing fruit wine industry, Himachal boasts of wines from various fruits, these include apples, plums, peaches, grapes and apricots. It is the pioneer state and the front runner in this industry although Chamba had a few wine shops. It is no longer an unknown fact that Himachal is the biggest producer of fruit wines. The weather of Himachal Pradesh also makes it ideal for wine making. Stream water is also naturally available in this hill and mountain state. Both these are the must have requirements for any wine maker. Home to the wine industry in Himachal are Solan, Shimla, Mandi and Palampur. Apart from the state owned winery in Himachal Pradesh called the HPMC ltd., selling fruits wines, there are many other premier agro processing companies in Himachal Pradesh. Gold home wines are worth a mention as their red wines were amazing.

Cause you're a sky, you're a sky full of stars Such a heavenly view You're such a heavenly view A hanging seat outside our room oscillated like a pendulum. The swing's suspension chains were permanently mounted to the porch ceiling; and the seat was large enough to occupy upto three people, with an armrest at each end with a rod on top, on which you could rest your foot. It was the most comfortable seat. It soon turned to be a medium to relax and calm our minds, we made it our space to unfold after the end of each day. The twinkling lights from the mountains afar and the stars aligned in such a way that they camouflaged and appeared to be a galactic view right under our feet, oh so beautiful! Did you hear the sound of snow crunching under your feet

  I had probably never seen a vast expanse of snow till that moment I actually landed at probably the highest point in Chamba named Snow Point. As I looked around, the unending white stretches, vaguely visible hills and the footprints on the ice appeared in front of me.   I was at a loss for words while standing on that frozen surface. I can’t seem to remember the time when started getting fascinated to the idea of travelling. All I remember are those days when after school I used to be glued to our television set to watch places and dreamt of visiting them one fine day. Time has slipped through my fingers in these years. But my curiosity to discover the world around me has only grown. The urge of going to different places, experiencing something new is what made me pick craft as an option of study this semester.
